All materials with a due date falling on a scheduled holiday closing date will automatically be considered due the next day the Library is open.

Bad Weather Closing Statement

We want to remind you all that we generally follow SAD 6 school district closings. An exception might be a storm that gets over in the late morning. If the roads and our parking lot are clear, we might open. Conversely, a storm late in the day might make us close early. In bad weather conditions, a call to the library before you head out is always a good idea. Books are never overdue if we are closed for weather that day. Also, if you need to return books when the library is closed we have a book return box that has separate slots for library books and audio visual materials that include movies.

Meeting Rescheduled for Tuesday, January 31

The Friends meet quarterly on the 2nd Tuesday at 7 p.m. here at the library. Their meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 7p.m. here at the library. Please contact the library and we will be happy to pass along any messages or inquiries if you can't make the meeting.

Trustee Meeting Postponed to Thursday, February 9, 2012

Our January Trustee meeting has been postponed due to inclement weather so it will be resceduled for Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 7p.m. here at the library. If you have any new business please contact the librarian so she can have it added to the agenda. All are welcome to attend.

Planning for our 100th Anniversary Celebrations

We will be making plans all this year for our 100th anniversary in 2012. If you have any ideas or would like to be part of a celebration planning committee please let us know. If you or a family member have a personal story about the history of the library or photographs we would like to hear from you. Please be a part of our community’s future celebration.
