All materials with a due date falling on a scheduled holiday closing date will automatically be considered due the next day the Library is open.

Make a Splash! at Davis Memorial Library This Summer.
Our summer reading program will run from now through Thursday, August 19th. This family friendly program is designed for children from beginning to independent readers. We have logbooks for the children to record the amount of time they read or are read to this summer. You can also record the titles of the books you read too. Stop by the library occasionally and let the librarians know how your summer reading is going and pick up a fun puzzle or craft activity you can do at the library or take home. We want to encourage children to continue reading all summer long and to have a little fun while they are at it. We have a little surprise planned for all the participants who accomplish their summer reading goals.
2010 Maine Wildlife Park Community Pass
The library is once again offering the community pass to the Maine Wildlife Park for Davis Memorial Library patron’s use.* (*Some restrictions apply.) Contact one of our librarian's to reserve a pass for your family!
A. The Library can only reserve & distribute one pass per day.
B. Maine Wildlife Park in Gray, ME, Early May - November 11, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Visitors can stay at the Park until 6:00 pm. Pass is good for up to 7 people in the patron’s party (4 yrs. old and up) at $2.00 per person when you turn in the pass at the gatehouse. Children 3 and under are free.

Our 2010 101 Great Reads list has been published! You can either stop by the library to pick up a copy or you can view the list on our 101 Great Reads page. Mary like to call it our adult summer reading program so see how many of the books on the list you can read this summer!
